Darner & Daisies’ founder and CEO, Megan, is an avid and passionate gardener who sought to preserve her flowers throughout the year, especially during Pittsburgh, PA’s colorless winter months. After extensive research, trials, failures, and successes, she has developed a process of which she is proud.

Megan has single-handedly created hundreds of floral-based pieces for people in the Pittsburgh, PA area. In 2023, she established Darner & Daisies.

The name ‘Darner’ pays tribute to any insect of the family Aeshnidae, particularly larger dragonflies. The Emerald Jewelwing dragonfly, a frequent visitor to our enchanting garden, inspired the name ‘Darner.’ Additionally, our garden boasts a wide variety of daisies blooming throughout the summer. We primarily source our flowers from our garden, those of friends and family, or from beautiful bouquets we discover in stores based on seasonal availability.
